The Korean drama "Hi Bye Mama!" tells the story of two people, Cha Yu Ri (Kim Tae Hee) and Jo Kang Hwa (Lee Kyu Hyung), who meet in their twenties thanks to their best friends, Go Hyeon Jeong (Shin Dong Mi) and Gye Geun Sang (Oh Eui Sik). After Yu Ri's death, Kang Hwa's entire personality undergoes a drastic transformation. However, after five long years, his deceased wife, Cha Yu Ri, unexpectedly reappears in front of him, shaking the foundation of their lives once again.

I recently had the pleasure of watching the Korean drama "Hi Bye Mama!" albeit a bit late, and I must say it was a truly fantastic experience. This captivating series is perfect for a family watch, as it offers a unique blend of emotions and storytelling.


While the script may not be the drama's strongest aspect, the overall impact of the story is undeniably powerful. As the title suggests, we are aware of the inevitable ending, yet I found myself content with the protagonist's decision, as it showcased a mother's unwavering love for her children. It's a poignant reminder of a mother's sacrifices.


"Hi Bye Mama!" may have a melancholic conclusion, but it is absolutely worth watching, especially for fans of Korean dramas. The availability of this drama on HITv makes it even more accessible for viewers seeking a heartfelt and emotionally resonant series.
